If you recommend another person as a guest, please only provide information you have a reasonable basis to share and avoid including unnecessary sensitive or private information.

  • send Table Notes and other communications you have chosen to receive;

Submitting a recommendation does not automatically subscribe you or anyone else to Table Notes.

5. Table Notes

We use Kit to manage Table Notes subscriptions and send email communications.


These may include:

  • new episode announcements;

  • behind-the-scenes material;

  • restaurant recommendations;

  • guest highlights;

  • photography and editorial notes.


You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails.


6. Forms and Recommendations

Our website allows visitors to recommend guests and places.


Guest recommendation forms may include:

  • the proposed guest’s name;

  • why they should be featured;

  • their contact details;

  • relevant links;

  • the recommender’s name and contact details.


Place recommendation forms may include:

  • the place name and location;

  • why it is being recommended;

  • relevant links;

  • the recommender’s name and contact details.


Submissions may be sent to hello@storyservedpodcast.com and stored using Framer and/or Google Sheets so that we can manage and review them.


If we contact a person whose information was supplied by someone else, we will provide appropriate privacy information when required.


7. Analytics

Our website is built using Framer. Framer’s built-in analytics are designed to operate without cookies or persistent identifiers and do not identify individual visitors.


We also use Google Analytics. Where consent is required, Google Analytics will only operate after you have accepted analytics cookies through our cookie controls.


8. Embedded Media and Third-Party Services

Story Served may embed or link to content from services including:

  • YouTube;

  • Spotify;

  • Apple Podcasts;

  • social media platforms; and

  • an interactive map provider.

Where required, optional third-party content or tracking will only load after you have given the relevant consent.

  • Framer;

  • Kit;

  • Google;

  • YouTube;

  • Spotify;

  • Apple;

  • future map providers; and

  • professional or technical advisers where necessary.


We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we use safeguards required by UK data protection law.


10. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary.

  • newsletter information is kept while you remain subscribed;

  • recommendation submissions are kept while they remain relevant to potential editorial or production activity;

  • correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably necessary;

Story Served may have listeners under 18, but the website is not specifically directed at children under 13.
